St. Martin in Burgbernheim
Prior to being purchased by the Catholic community in 1938, the building was originally an electrical substation between 1907 and 1922. Later it was used as a gym and a school. For some years during rebuilding it served as a dormitory for refugees after the war.
Construction was completed after 13 years, and on November 11, 1951 the church was dedicated to Saint Martin. It is part of the bishopric of Bamberg. In 1958 a bell was consecrated. Following a thorough renovation in 2002 St. Martin once again shines like new.
